One of these principles eventually will make sense without me explaining I promise, but that time is not now. Instead, I'm saying that you can only resolve conflicts when there are no conflicts to resolve, definitely beneficial. It's not something you would want to be possible when conflicts exist. I love digging myself holes. Well if there's one way to get out of a hole, it's to keep digging or in this case to keep writing.
I will try to make some sense of this, as I want you to understand that this principle is beneficial and will get you closer to finding benefit in these principles once I can at least resolve this conflict that I have created of my own volition. Think of the worst conflict that you have had in your life that you are willing to think about. Think of when you were living in that conflict, when you were feeling every single emotion, where you were only reacting to what was happening. Imagine the height of that conflict, where there is no time to think, all you have to rely upon is your instinctual response. In moments where we are in conflict, there is no way to resolve that conflict, we are just trying to reach a point where that conflict will end.
When it ends however, that does not mean that the conflict has been resolved. When I have been in an argument with someone, even if the argument ends, the conflict does not leave who we are. It lives within our past, the conflict has ended, it does not exist in the present, but it does exist and this is where this principle comes in. We cannot resolve a conflict when we are living within that conflict, how can we resolve something if it has not ended? We need to be able to see the whole conflict if we are to resolve it. That means we can not be living the conflict in the present; the conflict needs to exist fully in the past or fully in the future for a resolution to be found and actuated.
With this though I think we can agree that this principle does not mean that conflicts cannot be resolved, only that we need them to not exist in our present, we need to recognize it as a conflict of the past or a conflict of the future. Only once we have done that will we be able to resolve it. You are in luck however, right now you are reading this book, you have taken a moment to seek out change, read the ideas and principles that reside within and as I have made it clear from the start that these writings should not be forced upon others, then hopefully this is not forcing you into conflict in your present moment. If it is, stop reading, this website will not fulfill its purpose. Instead, I hope that this project helps you take a step back from the conflicts that exist within your life, to see who you are and the conflicts that exist around you and recognize them in their entirety. See how those conflicts are affecting the change that you desire. Take this moment to see yourself, take a moment away from action and think about all that you are, leave out nothing.
I've made a lofty promise for this collection of writings to hold, that it can help you accomplish change and not just a small change, but any positive change that you desire. For myself as well, I am putting a lot into these writings, I am believing that what I am writing can become a great work for humanity without any evidence that I am capable of achieving such a goal, that I am capable of such a change in my life. Can I change into the person who can write a book that can be what I am promising for others? It's only day 2 and I am already questioning my commitment to the dream I have stated. The chasm between who I am now and who I need to be to accomplish my singular dream is vast, the glimmer that I see may only be a trick of the light, I may be living in a delusion that it can exist.
Change is hard, change is the hardest thing we can do, you have never been the person who you aspire to become, you do not know what is required to be that person. Becoming the person who can find and put to paper the principles that can allow anyone to make any change, resolve any conflict, will be the hardest thing I ever do in my life. There are conflicts that seem unresolvable, there are changes that seem impossible for Humanity, but I believe that it is possible, and I am committing myself to find a way to do it. That's part of why this project will never be possible by myself, I need the support and help of everyone to make that happen, I need to know the conflicts in which everyone lives and work with everyone to find a resolution.
