What is a false prophet and am I one?

Using what I have explained as to my understanding of what a prophet is, we can begin to see where prophets become false through looking at what it means to truly be a prophet. To be a prophet means to not be reliant on the belief of others. If others are forced to believe in you, then are you really a prophet? If you are speaking on universal truths and insights, does that not mean that all will eventually come to recognize your truth? So a false prophet is one that requires you to believe in them. This is one I want to be clear, you do not need to believe me on anything that I say, my only desire is to find and share the truths of Humanity and this world and share them with others. Think of any figure in history who has been considered a prophet, if a section of Humanity did not accept them, then they would not have become one. When I think of the stories of prophets, they start from a place of rejection, it is through time, effort, and consistent honesty and respect that people came to believe in them. If we consider all prophets as humans who only have human abilities.

To go alongside the previous point, a false prophet is one that retains and abuses power for personal gain. How can you force someone to say that they believe you? The only way is to abuse trust or power that you hold over them, otherwise if they don't believe in it, they don't believe in it. So to be a true prophet requires relinquishing any power over others. A true prophet speaks to provide for Humanity, but whose power solely comes from Humanity and what they give to the prophet. This is one I have thought a lot about as I've had to sit and think about what if in the best case I am accepted as Humanity's prophet, does that not come with a lot of power? If I have the complete trust of anyone, does that not mean I can do anything without repercussion? It is a lot of responsibility and the only way I have found to work with it, is to put the power shared with me by others towards the goals of those who have shared their power and help to empower them to embrace all of the power they have themselves.

This one is going to seem backwards, but a false prophet will say they are the only path to truth, they will claim exclusivity. To be a prophet is to speak of an individual truth, but how that is to be found as truth can be through any path. As I have said with prophecies, they are but a single event that will come to pass. That is the same for truths, they are a single truth that is believed, but that truth can be found through paths that do not involve any prophet.

Finally, and this one may also seem very similar to the ones above, a prophet will not speak of themselves. To be a prophet, one is to speak about universal truths of Humanity, a prophet at the end of the day is only human, they are not separate from Humanity, they are only one individual within the collective. No prophet should see themselves and speak of themselves outside of who they are within Humanity. I may have chosen to be a prophet, but I am still human, I feel the full range of emotions, I have friends, I have family, I love being a little weird and making people laugh. I believe that I can better Humanity through searching and uncovering universal truths, I believe that is also the purpose through which I can find fulfillment every single day. At the end of the day, I just want to live life full of joy with those I love, while doing everything I can to help others find the truths that they seek.

As to the second part of this question if I am a false prophet, that is entirely up to you. If you choose to consider me a false prophet, all the power to you, the responsibility always falls on me to build that trust. You, now and forever, owe me nothing. I hope that you can reach a point where you believe, through my continued work, that I am a true prophet in my pursuits, but until then believe as you will, that is the beauty of this all. I seek the absolute truth and your truth is a part of that no matter what I believe to be true!
